Dental Veneers

If you are unhappy with the look of your teeth when you smile, dental veneers might be the cosmetic dental treatment that you didn’t know you needed. Dental veneers are a highly effective, minimally invasive, cosmetic procedure used to change the appearance of the teeth. The process uses a thin, wafer-like, tooth-colored material to cover imperfections by bonding over an existing tooth. Dental veneers can be used to improve:

  • Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
  • Teeth that remain stained even after professional teeth whitening treatment
  • Teeth that are not shaped or sized correctly; either too small or an odd shape
  • Crooked or misaligned teeth
  • A large gap in the front teeth

We offer two versions of dental veneers and use an evaluation to determine which option would be most sensible to your needs and help you achieve the desired results.

Porcelain Veneers

Traditional porcelain veneers are made of a medical grade ceramic shell that provides a strong, long-lasting cover for the natural tooth. The materials used blend in with the teeth, leaving a natural appearance. The tooth enamel needs to be worn down a bit before the veneer is permanently attached to the front of the tooth.

“No Prep” Veneers

This option is similar to traditional porcelain veneers in that the tooth is fully covered; however, it requires less preparation of the tooth and is less invasive. Similar to a contact lens that covers the eye, the “no prep” veneer covers the tooth. There is little to no tooth enamel removed before the veneer is placed, making for a more comfortable procedure.
